About
Mental Health first aid
MHFA courses are designed to teach you the skills necessary to safely help someone who may be experiencing a mental health issue.

Through a blend of online instructor-led live sessions and self-learning activities, you will:
– Develop practical skills to spot the triggers and signs of mental health issues.
– Gain confidence to reassure and support a person in distress.
– Learn how to guide them to further support for recovery.

Upon completion of the course, you will be a recognised, either Adult or Youth, Mental Health First Aider (MHFAider®) accredited by MHFA England.

Arrange a course at a time to suit you
Would you like to arrange a course with colleagues or friends? Great! Get in touch and we can schedule a course at a time to fit your schedule.

It’s sometimes difficult to get everyone together in one place, at the same time, for a course. With Green Mental Wellbeing, we can arrange multiple sessions throughout the day, or shorter morning, afternoon, or evening sessions, across several days / weeks to suit even the busiest organisations.

Please note - a minimum of 8 delegates is required.
Public speaking, webinars, and events
Jamie is available for public speaking engagements at adult and youth events. Talks and seminars can be tailored to your event requirements. Please contact us with your specifications.
Jamie's approach
With over a decade and a half’s experience, Jamie applies a whole-self approach to person centred health and wellbeing. Many traditional routes focus heavily on the presenting issue, failing to consider the wider influencing factors, and biopsychosocial impacts. Jamie’s approach is different, it employs a holistic (mental, physical, social, spiritual, occupational) method. It is with this approach that Jamie seeks to educate organisations and individuals on how to better care for themselves and others. With simple strategies and evidenced based techniques Jamie shares, with care, hope, and humour, easy to understand strategies that anyone (16+) can immediately implement.
